My Journey with The Paper Money: A Personal Timeline.
2018: The Birth of a Vision
I, Samantha Chepi, co-founded The Paper Money with the vision to revolutionize how entrepreneurs learn and connect. It wasn’t just about resources; it was about building a community where business owners felt seen and supported.
2019: A Milestone of Growth
TPM took off, hitting multiple six figures. It was proof that what we were building mattered—our work was resonating, and people were showing up for it.
2020: Success Became a Challenge
Growth is exciting, but it’s also demanding. We expanded quickly—almost too quickly—and suddenly, keeping up felt overwhelming.
2021: The Breaking Point
We hit a wall. The weight of rapid expansion took its toll, and I had to make a tough call: stepping away from TPM to regain perspective. It was a season of reflection, a moment to realign with my purpose.
June 2023: A Renewed Vision
After time away, I returned to The Paper Money, but this time with clarity. Instead of chasing growth for the sake of it, I was committed to building something meaningful and sustainable. TPM officially became a family business, grounded in values that matter.
2024: A New Era
With a fresh direction, I embraced my role as Chief Marketing Officer, focused on revitalizing our brand and deepening our community connections. Jacqueline (my mom) stepped in as Marketing Manager, Alexandra Chepi, a SEGi alum, became our in-house writer, and Mr. Chepi, an engineer and consultant in oil & gas, joined as our strategist. Together, we redefined TPM as a business that thrives on both strategy and heart.
2025 & Beyond: A Legacy in Motion
